| | Insipid 200, In Flames, Colony | ] | So yeah havent updated this thing in a while, last night to like 5 this morning was the 360fest which, though we didnt have the full 12 people owned. just got dead rising for the 360 and that took up a good amount of the time. there is just something about being able to use any item possible in a mall to own hundreds of zombies that is just incredibly appealing. went to pei wei, had good times there, and came back for some halo 2 (which a good number of the time i thoroughly dominated at i might add). just all in all an awesome time with some very cool people, this years gonna be sweet, besides the whole not getting into college thing
oh yeah! crane came back, woot, been hanging out with him almost every day, saw talledega again with him and abby, chilled at my place...his place...yeah, just in general cranes been stalking me.
also saw accepted with all the guys, very predictable movie to a point where it got annoying, but there were a lot of good funny parts to make up for it
im incredibly, incredibly tired, 360fests take a lot out of you
i wanna LAN, owning at zero hour is so fun
hm, what else
shit, schools starting soon, although i think this year will be fun im perfectly content with summer. going out every day to do random shit with the guys is very entertaining, doesnt get old either.
pride and prejudice blows so far, ive read 10 pages and took two 2 hours naps in that 10 pages so far. there needs to be zombies in pride and prejudice, thatd make it more interesting
oh yeah, revised schedule

| | Kissing the Shadows, Children of Bodom, Follow the Reaper | ] | So id like to start off by saying that Kissing the Shadows by children of bodom is one of the most beautiful and awesome songs there is. kthxbye
so yeah, i havent updated this shit for a while, lets start with before i left to the east coast, me and phillips went to sounds of the underground! woo! we arrived to see half the people were blue colored as a result of gwar, which we (sadly) missed due to arriving late due mostly to phillips being nub. cannibal corpse was up when we got there, and they were pretty sweet besides sounding generifcally evil. then up came trivium, they fucking OWNED playing rain, pull harder on the strings of your martyr, like light to flies, gunshot to the head of trepidation, ember to inferno, the new amazing song detonation, and THEY COVERED MASTER OF PUPPETS BY METALLICA. for those who do not know, master of puppets is my favorite song of all time period. enough said. so yeah, i practically creamed myself (sorry for the description) and was the happiest person in the world...i thought, that would actually come during in flames later. shadows fall owned, but during the 1st half of their set we went and got posters signed by trivium which was sweet, travis, the drummer, is really cool. alright then in flames played and i dont have words to describe how amazing they were. even though they played a third of the songs they did for the headlining concert they seemed to be even better, and we were literally right up front, about 5 feet from Anders (my fucking HERO) so yeah.
after SOTU was my east coast tour, won't go into too much detail, but collegewise, visited upenn, swarthmore, haverford, amherst, cornell, and yeah basically a bunch of schools i have NO chance of getting into! hah. im convinced from everything ive heard that i can get into three colleges (not including community colleges) and those colleges are ASU, UofA, and NAU. *sigh* im pretty much in love with haverford and pomona so i probably wanna early app into one of those. visited niagra falls, spent time in downtown NY, visited vishalanna in PA, all in all a fun trip
came home for 4 days in which all the guys and i went to the LAN place literally every night, 4 nights in a row, that owned. then it was off to california. visited pomona, it was awesome, like i said right now im feeling either that or haverford, then took my sister to places like disneyland and universal studios because im that awesome of a brother, wasnt too bad really, besides the lack of roller coasters.
so now im back again, and bored, and going to the LAN place with the guys tonight i think. yeah crane, you really need to get back here, youre missing out. schools starting soon, shit. oh well, this year seems promising, i think it'll be awesome, damn i cant imagine myself leaving pcds yet... oh yeah heres the schedule
Monday 1 Adv Physics 2 AP Environmental Science 3 Advisor/Speeches (Mrs. Barranco) 4 AP Calc (will most likely be dropped and become a free) 5 Lunch 6 Free 7 Anatomy and Physiology 8 Free (will most likely become AP Stats)

| | Cult, Slayer, Eternal Pyre EP | ] | so yeah this updating thing is weird, i will fight through it however.
day before yesterday: went to the LAN place with a shitload of guys, phillips, me, tyler, ian, joey, chris, roysden, phil, cook, farrier, fazel, and more, it was awesome as usual. owned at generals with china infantry, hell yes. yeah, that was pretty much my day, im not complaining. it was good chillin with tyler again though, i probably hang out with him most out of my out of school friends but it still doesn't feel like we hang out enough since hes one of my closest friends. well thats what happens when you got to different schools i guess.....
so yesterday was the unholy alliance tour. slayer, lamb of god, children of bodom, mastodon, and thine eyes bleed. phillips and i, after a little trouble getting there since its in mesa and it was our first time, arrive during the middle of thine eyes bleed, and as phillips said it was good generic metal done right, so yeah they were pretty good. then mastodon came on, and they owned, im not gonna lie, im not a big mastodon fan, but they tore it up. they played iron tusk, aqua dementia, march of the fire ants, crystal skull, megalodon, i am ahab, and a few more songs, ending with the awesome blood and thunder.
after them was the band phillips and i pretty much went for, children of bodom. it didnt feel like they got to play too many songs, but they did play, among others, needled 24/7, living dead beat, in your face, sixpounder, angels don't kill, and downfall. the mosh during bodom was NUTS, second only to the devildriver mosh at the in flames concert. i was completely spent after the set and phillips and i headed to the back, because we had gotten up close for mastodon and bodom. lamb of god pretty much owned live. they were really really good though i didnt know all their stuff.
slayer was last and it was epic, as soon as they got on the stage a huge lightning bolt was in the sky and a huge rumbling of thunder proceeded, this was incredibly epic considering slayers most famous song is Raining Blood. While introducing the awesome new song, Cult, the slayer frontman said something along the lines of "this song is about...gatherings, gatherings of people who celebrate things in a happy manner. we are here to celebrate the unholy alliance and a certain religion. the religion of heavy metal." yay for band speeches, course i fucked that up, it was more awesome than that. |

| | Love?, Strapping Young Lad, Alien | ] | so yeah, crane's whole this thing is a perfect memory log for the future kinda got me to want to keep posting in this thing, of course he said that a really long time ago and ive just been procractinating until now, OBVIOUSLY. so yeah, since my last post (a long long time ago) there has been many epic halofests with all the 12 guys, the arch enemy concert with crane which was awesome, the in flames concert with trivium opening with crane, phillips, rahul, varun, josh, and more, which was epic. i crowd surfed during the chorus of trigger and life was good. junior year, although probably the toughest academically was the best year of my high school life so far. the amazing friends, the family, the teachers, the environment...im not really sure i want to leave pcds even though the work makes me hate it sometimes. we're all going to go to different colleges, promise to keep in touch, and slowly lose contact over time. except for crane whos rooming with me so i guess that solves it for one person...
so yeah, i guess that takes it to this summer
this summer has been quite epic. garren's two raves so far have been awesome, going to the LAN place 3 times a week with phillips, crane, phil, cook, jay, shanken, fazel, and all those guys has pretty much owned, damn i love that LAN place, ultimate online experience ftw. mostly crane and phillips have made my house their second home and have been coming over at least twice a week to chill which has been pretty awesome. jays come over a lot too and ive wtfpwned him in CoD 2 constantly, which is to be expected. then. came the day. ozzfest arrived.
ozzfest 2006 was amazing. i loved every minute of it. the best two days of the past two years of my life have been ozzfest and i dont consider it a bad thing. im surrounded by amazing live music in a festival environment while im out with my two best friends, fuckin a man. you know ozzfest starts out well when as soon as you arrive, and your friend crane needs to go to an ATM machine you notice that a guy you see walking around looks like a guy from a band you worship. so yeah, i recognized phil, the singer from All that Remains, and he was like "yeah im phil, whats up?", and we talked with him, chilled, got a picture with him and stuff, it was sweet. i love metal, the band members are so down to earth, when they arent playing, they chill with the crowd and watch other bands, you have to respect that. so the opening band for ozzfest 06 was STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, fuck yeah i love those guys. devin is amazing and hilarious. they played love and you suck which were both amazing and all around they just tore it up. after them it was between the buried and me who i personally liked a lot, they played all bodies, selkies, and alaska. after that it was a bunch of shitty bands that sounded the same which we skipped in order to get lunch and buy strapping young lad and dragonforce shirts. we came back to the second stage at noon to see All That Remains, who were amazing. they played This Calling, for salvation, tattered on my sleeve, indictment, and closed out with the insanely heavy this darkened heart. after their set, we met the band again and all of them autographed a copy of the album for me. then bleeding through and atreyu played, they were both alright, atreyu was a lot better live than they are on the album. and after them was unearth, who dominated! they played the great dividers, black hearts now reign, endless, zombie autopilot and more. then black label society with the legendary zakk wylde took the stage, and we got to hear suicide messiah and fire it up (basically the two songs we wanted to hear by them) before we left to make sure we didnt miss dragonforce on the main stage. dragonforce blew me away. if you havent heard them, ask me about them, they are the most talented and technical band i have EVER heard, and since i listen to metal and not punk, alternative, or some bullshit like that, thats saying a lot. they didn't get a really good crowd response because their music was too above the typical "MOSH! MOSH! SLIPKNOTKORNFUCKYEAH!!!!" crowd, but they were awesome and played my spirit will go on, body breakdown, fury of the storm, and the epic through the fire and the flames. after them was the band that i think was best live at ozzfest, Lacuna Coil. first of all, let me just get out that cristina is amazing. her voice was practically hypnotizing live, and who cannot be amazed by a ridiculously hot girl who headbangs and fronts a metal band? they played fragile, to the edge, what i see, fragments of faith, enjoy the silence, heaven's a lie, and OUR TRUTH. the entire set, i was blown away, and yeah during the next band, hatebreed i just kinda left and bought a lacuna shirt. after them was avenged sevenfold who really amazed me live, way better than i thought. they played eternal rest, unholy confessions, beast and the harlot, bat country, burn it down, and a cover of panteras "walk" that made the crowd go INSANE. after them was disturbed, who were 100 times better live than they were on album where i can barely stand listening to them for more than 20 minutes because they sound the same. the singer, draiman, just got everyone going, it was great. system of a down was next, and although they were good, they werent as good as when they played their own concert here last year, they were a lot weirder this year. i wont list all the songs they played since phillips is planning on making a VENN DIAGRAM of what they played both times, damn hes so cool isnt he. daron, the guitarist, randomly started humping his guitar on the floor for literally like a minute or two which was kinda weird. but yeah all in all, ozzfest OWNED. phillips and crane stayed the night at my place and so ended the greatest day of my life up till now.
so yeah crane left to debate camp a few days ago, right before the bday which sucks, but now this takes us to the bday, yay!
so i turned 17 on july 18th, and the bday was amazing. phillips, ian, chris yee, eisner, shanken, phil, cook, nick farrier, tyler, zach, rahul, varun, and more come over to my place and we hooked up 3 xbox 360s and began the insane halo 2 action right away. after i was done owning it that we had a CoD 2 tournament which i owned at and won. then headed to the LAN place to play some CS and C&C generals...where i got owned...actually i did well at CS but yeah, generals...i hate you phil...by the way, how cool am i? i mean im talking about video games on my lj! woo! fuck yeah im badass! actually i dont give a crap because none of you can do anything about it MWAHAHAHAHA plus its what really happened on the bday anyways. it kinda sucks that alotta people i know were outta town, woulda made it even more epic if they had been there too
New Movies ive seen this summerish
Ice Age: The Meltdown saw this with abby, now im not usually into kids movies that much anymore, but lets face it, the first ice age pretty much owned and this one was even better, hilarious, loved it, though the story wasnt as good as the 1st 8/10
X-3 The Last Stand saw this with crane, eisner, mcgarret, felisia, lizzy b, and all them and abby, yeah this movie was pretty much epic, i loved it besides the few really really cheesy lines, best line though was "IM THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH", not gonna lie 9/10
Over the Hedge saw this with abby and lizzie (aka libby, or scooter), it kinda blew, a few funny parts but i really wasnt feelin it, although steve carrell did an awesome job with his character as usual 4/10
Superman Returns saw this with indians (i simply say this because no one on my friends would know them cuz theyre all whiteys) and the movie was better than i thought, granted im not that big a superman fan so that probably factored in a little 7/10
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest saw this with abby two days ago on my bday and it was fucking awesome, a lotta people said it was mediocre but i absolutely loved it, action was good, the story was intense, characters were played well, keira knightley was fucking HOT, and the ending was probably the biggest movie cliffhanger ive seen, so yeah, it owned, great way to end the 17th bday, I NEED TO SEE THE THIRD ONE NOW. 10/10
(man, doing this rating thing makes me feel so important)
New Music:
ah fuck the reviews, anyone would listen to the albums id put in here already likes metal anyways, im not gonna bother, ill just say that strapping young lad's the new black, dragonforces inhuman rampage, and all that remains fall of ideals are all awesome, check em out
oh and sorry for taking up your whole friends page whoevers reading this, but honestly i dont give a fuck because im posting for the first time in like 6 months, so this makes up for all the times i didnt waste your friends page before
oh and another thing, if you actually read this whole thing i will personally see to it that you are given a cookie |

Bodom After Midnight-AMAZING live, corey's favorite, was really really good You're Better Off Dead Angels Don't Kill Are You Deat Yet? We're Not Gonna Fall Needled 24/7- :O, words cannot describe how godly this was Every Time I Die In Your Face Follow the Reaper Hate Crew Deathroll Downfall
and all was good. the end. oh, except i hate school work, and im afraid of finals, and my inevitable failing of them, but besides that, sall good. |

| | Iron Maiden-Powerslave-Flash of the Blade | ] | k, for this update we go all the way back to monday. so monday after school, me, beau, and jay all go to walmart at 4 pm to camp for the xbox 360. we thought wed be first in line, comin 8 hrs early and all, but nooooooo we were 38th in line, good thing they had 48 360s...yesssssss. so ya, we camped, i did (minimal) hwk. GOT THE 360, w perfect dark zero, kameo, and call of duty 2. next day was tired as hell, but after school crane, phillips, chavez, cook, phil, jay, shanken, and jared came over and we hooked up 2 360s to my two tvs and played some insane 4 on 4 FPS, ah, it was great. so yeah, did that till like 5 in the morning then the next day was kinda a blur, i dont really remember much, i spent the entire day playing the 360, it was amazing yet probably very bad at the same time (for my mental state), meh whatever. thanksgiving (as usual) was amazing. i pigged out like no other and was deemed by my cousins "official fat man of the day"...yessssssssss. watched football and spent time w all the cousins that came back from college/med school/etc. that night we went to see goblet of fire w everyone, i swear i have so many cousins that we have to count the amount of cousins in each of the cars before we get in/out of them so we dont lose anyone. harry potter was awesome, best out of the 4 so far easily, abby went to go see it too so that was cool. saturday was baba's bday, which was fun, got to see all the balvikas ppl again, tarun, adithya, ajay, varun, neeru, akhila, and everyone else. oh yeah HAPPY BDAY NEERU, ya, 17, sheeeesh, how can someone so clumsy (lasagna yest) be so old?? that night went w crane and phillips to fear factory concert! oh man, even tho we had to leave only 30 mins into fear factory it was awesome. soilwork, who opened was pretty sick. zero signal was awesome, and slave labor was AMAZING live by FF. soon as it started, EVERYONE started moshing like no other, including us 3, shiiiiit it was so crazy, and the song (my favorite fear factory song) was amazing live. so yeah, all in all, lifes been good, can't really ask for too much mroe, im in love with my 360...the end |

List of what they played: Nemesis-amazing opening, so anthemic, got everybody going Enemy Within-holy shit i was looking so forward to this song, and i was not dissapointed My Apocalypse-MUCHHHHHHHHh better live than on the cd Dead Eyes See No Future Burning Angel The Immortal Silent Wars-sweet. Taking Back My Soul-singing along to the chorus like no other, nooo moreee, its over, im onto you your evil game, the tables have turned, im taking back my soul Drum solo-and a very very badass one i might add Diva Satanica Machtkampf Despicable Heroes Bury Me an Angel Hybrids of Steel-ammott, youre a god Dead Bury Their Dead-i have to say, this was prob the best live, it was siiick Out for Blood Skeleton Dance Ravenous We Will Rise-AMAZING ending, the way angela opened it up, together with metal...we...will...RISSSE *cue amazing riff intro* ^not exact order, but the first couple and last couple are in order i think
all in all, amazing. |

all in all it was amazing, i love the haunted. crane can attest to how amazing they were bc he said right after "holy shit that was fucking GOD", then described how into it i was by "you were going insane". it was a lotta fun though my neck hurts like hell now. i cant WAIIIIIIIT till arch enemy nov 12th and bodom/trivium the 28th, its going to be awesome. life is good. |

| | Fear Factory-Archetype-Archetype | ] | so the pcds debate tournament was this weekend, im exhausted now after it, but i have to say, it was a pretty kickass tournament. awesome judging (the finals panel was all old pcds debators who are awesome people), good service (provided by us), a 6 foot trophy for the winner, and more. im proud, hopefully we'll get more ppl next year for the tournament tho. ross and phillips helped out friday, was fun, sold pizza, got to talk to cranes sister and tori about arch enemy concert nov 12th and how amazingly wonderful its going to be. crane and phillips have to somehow get out of the play/get out quick to come to that concert cuz its gonna be amazing. got to see dean and dane again after a while, those guys kick ass, i wanted them to win the 6 footer so badly. saturday was slow, got there at 8 in the morn, hung out w crane and felisia and was really tired, till we sold subway. oo ya and abby came and chilled/helped out/sold subway w me for like 6 hours, that was cool. phillips took a couple tech breaks too to get his hands on the money, jk. there was one thing really awkward about the whole tournament though, but i wont go into that, it also tended to piss me off, a lot...meh, crane/phillips/fazel (who was also there and helped)/abby know what im taking about. hm what else, oh ya, brophy ended up winning jv and varsity and got huge trophies, that was cool, last round was alright, its kinda sad that it came down to what it did but meh it was a pretty good round. even more stoked...and nervous, for mesa/usc after watching that round, no way can i compete with them, but i CAN try, meh we'll see, we have a couple tricks up our sleeves. after the tournament was over, crane and i went to go get phillips's bday present and then we went to YCs, twas good. after that, jared drove me back, anddd i headed home with rahul. so ya, that was the eagle classic, gonna go do lots of hwk right now...more like cutting cards cuz crane is a bastard and reminded me i have work to do.

oh and ya random note, i kinda want to like someone, its been like 3 or 4 months or some insane amount of time like that, ive liked it for a while, now its just boring. meh. whatever, i really am happy, i shouldnt complain.

| | Trivium-Ascendancy-Like Light to the Flies | ] | i saw this on crane and jared's ljs and thought of this as incredibly true, sad, and well-written. so i decided to share it with you all.
"The incompetence of King George.
The irony is enough to make you vomit.
Today, September 1, the Department of Homeland Security launched National Preparedness Month.
Preparedness for what? The display of unpreparedness going on in Louisiana is greatest human tragedy on American soil in my lifetime so far. How dare these people talk to us about preparedness. People are dying amidst disease, squalor and misery because of their unpreparedness.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. I'm sorry. I'm really angry.
What we keep hearing, from the administration but also from people who should know better, is that this is not the time to "play politics" with the disaster.
Well, first of all, who's playing? I could not possibly be more serious.
And second, why do so many people have this idea that politics are a game? Some sort of popularity contest, unrelated to people's actual lives? I have news for you. Politics are the means by which we select the leaders who will, in turn, make policy. Policy affects your life. At times like these, policy can be the difference between life and death.
Poll after poll shows that people agree with the Democrats on almost every major issue. We would be a liberal country if we voted for the leaders who would actually enact policies we agree with. But we don't vote that way for some reason. You saw it in the last election. It was all "I'm going to vote for Bush because you know where you stand with him." And "I'm voting for Bush because he makes me feel safe."
It is not the quality of a leader's Clint Eastwood impression that keeps you safe, people. It is the quality of his (or her) policies. And this administration's policies are terrible. Al Gore's would not have been. John Kerry's would not have been. You would have agreed more with their policies and priorities. They would not have been asleep at the switch. America, your nearsightedness in returning this man to power made this crisis worse. It made people die.
George W. Bush said on "Good Morning America" that no one anticipated that the levees might break. That is flat out false. In fact, many people anticipated it. FEMA, in 2001, identified a category 5 hurricane destroying the levees and flooding New Orleans as one of the three major disasters most likely to befall the United States. One of the others was a terrorist attack on New York.
Well, guess what? We've had both. Guess what Bush did to prepare? Nothing. Then the administration looked us straight in the eye, both times, and said no one could have anticipated that this would happen. Well, bullshit, George. It's bullshit and I don't think you care.
This one is even worse, because in 2003 and 2004, the Bush administration specifically cut the funds for strengthening those specific levees, because it needed the money for Iraq. It's ironic that we were told, ad nauseam, that we had to invade Iraq because it posed a real threat to our safety and we had to be proactive. So, in the name of that, the administration took away the funds that might have prevented a far more likely tragedy from claiming so many lives, as it is now in the process of doing.
And who normally deals with these tragedies? Well, the National Guard. That's why we have a National Guard. It isn't designed to fight wars. It's designed to deal with domestic disaster scenarios. But nearly half the Louisiana National Guard is in Iraq.
George's vanity war and his neo-imperialist fantasy of remaking the middle east and his obsessive desire to slash his friends' taxes all came before these people's lives. And now they're dying. Old people. Children. Sick people. Mostly poor people, who couldn't escape, and, when the hurricane was bearing down on them, got no governmental help in doing so. And now they're dying, George. Dying.
Playing politics? George, you've spent your whole presidency invoking 9/11. You've spent your whole presidency trying to claim anyone who doesn't support your policies doesn't care if 9/11 happens again. This despite the fact that the other side tried to stand with you right after that tragedy happened. They ignored your policy failures; the fact that Clinton's National Security Adviser, Sandy Berger, gave you specific warnings about bin Laden and plans for dealing with them; FEMA's warnings that such an attack would be a huge disaster; and the fact that Hart-Rudman warned explicitly in Spring 2001 that one was coming. And you did nothing, but the Democrats let it slide because no one thought it was the time to dwell on past failures.
Well, now we're in it again, and in a lot of ways this one is even worse, and you not only did nothing to prepare, you impeded others' ability to do so. And again we're being told this isn't the time. Well, when is the time? How many times do you have to get people killed before we're allowed to talk about it? How many dead babies do we have to see on TV before criticizing the people who let it happen stops being "shrill"? I've had enough.
America, to you I say, this is proof that your policymakers should be people who are competent and whose policies you actually support. If you install a government because, gosh, they look likable and macho on television, you're going to get lousy policy, and people will suffer and die. It is not a game, it is not an abstraction, and you need to stop treating it so casually.
George, to you I say, we are not playing politics. You're the one who's playing. Playing golf, playing guitar in photo ops, acting like nothing was wrong the day after Katrina hit, the day the levees broke and New Orleans started to disappear. Giving speeches comparing yourself to FDR while lives were being washed into the Gulf of Mexico. You're the unserious party here. You don't get to base your whole career on playing politics, then urge others not to do so the moment politics becomes inconvenient.
People are dead because of your policies. If you really do talk to God, I hope he gives you an earful for this one."

| | Bobaflex-Apologize for Nothing-Medicine | ] | ah, yesterday was a very very good day. rahul came over at around 12 and we headed to tyler for some INSANEEEEEEEEE halo 2 action with like 12 other people. had 3 xbox's connected, chips and salsa, and soda. <- THAT is what life is about :P haha. me and my bro tyler were always on the same team, bout as good as each other, it was fun. hahaha it got fun because our team became the "holy all stars" team. our characters in halo were named after religious figures: i was jesus, tyler was mohammed, rishi was gandhi, and alex was moses. the other team had ppl with names such as "the orange poop", "da black guy", "Captain Ass Monkey", and "Sir Hump Mucho". it was quite interesting because when we killed each other in halo entertaining messages such as "Jesus was assassinated by the orange poop", "Moses beat down da black guy", "Gandhi sniped Sir Hump Mucho", and "Captain Ass Monkey was stuck by Mohammed" came up. lmao, it was great. anyways, i owned at swords :D haha. so we played halo 2 for 6 hours then because we were all decaying away from playing halo 2 that long, we went out to play some football for an hour or so, that was awesome. brings back good memories of playin football w tyler, we've been doin that since 1st grade, it was good to chill with him again. after tyler's me and rahul headed to ANOTHER family puja. akka and i got to talk a lot, thats always nice, i really miss her when i dont get to see her a lot, she IS my older sis. man, our family's just awesome in general, i did have a lotta fun last night haha. when i put things into perspective, im quite lucky and quite content, and im thankful for it. oh yes, and bobaflex is a very sweet band, thanks phillips for introducing me. theyre a relaxing listen, especially compared to the other music i listen :P. well, anyways, cuz of the constant halo-playing this weekend, i must go run around in circles in my room in panic then proceed to do hwk all day and night. |

| | The Haunted-rEVOLVEr-All Against All | ] | so the first week of school has surprisingly gone VERY VERY well besides the RIDICULOUS amount of homework every night. its insaneee, usually 60 + pages of reading, calc hwk, and then some type of spanish hwk as well...blech. but the 3 day week + awesome school ppl + frees with friends + halofest last night makes up for it. jr yr really has gone a lot better than i thought so far, though i am doing a hell of a lot of work. on thursday i had to make my lil announcement in the morn convincin ppl to come to join debate, and we actually got quite a few people. like almost 10 freshman, and 1 sophomore, considering the fact that there are about 60 freshman total, i got about 10% of the freshman class to join debate! woo! it looks like a good bunch of novice's this year, quite a few seem like they'll get really good. alright, so yesterday i had my free, free, lunch, free, 4 straight periods with no classes and cool people in all of those frees. so yeah, frees were fun yesterday, in the first two just chilled with crane, phillips, jay, jared, fazel, chavez, abby, alexis, yeah theres that one free just has like every single person i know in it, its pretty cool. blasted some good music on the stereo in the student center. then lunch and another free (this was a very awesome schedule) when crane did debate work so i chilled with abby and matt for a while, after i finished my calc hwk which took a loooong time. so yeah then came halofest at cranes place! with chavz, phillips, crane, and i. it was amazing, as usual. me, chavez, and crane had to head to chavez's at first to get another controller, and chavez is THE worst person to have in the seat next to you when youre driving, just ask crane, ahaha though it was quite amusing for me i must say. so ya, until phillips came we played some 3 person halo in which i was SEVERELY owning those two, omg it was awesome. ive gotten to be amazing at swords now; heck anyone can after playing swords as much as me, crane, and phillips have. then phillips came, we played a couple rounds of halo, eh i won a couple, crane won a couple, twas amazingly fun. then mcdonald's for food, *2 for a dollar baked apple pies*, lmao that was one FUNNY dinner. like, i dont think thres ever a time when im NOT laughing when im around those guys, its awesome; when cranes being hilarious in his weird way: laughing, when chavez is being chavez: laughing, when i own crane in a sword dance: laughing, singing mezmerize in the car: laughing, getting stuck by phillips: still laughing. you know what they should do for therapy? stick the kid in a room with system of a down, the four horsemen (us), a huge tv with xbox and halo, and cranes gigantic dog that could pass for a lion; the kid will instantly be healed of any prior depression. after our 2nd round of halo, we watched a hell of a lot of celebrity jeopardy episodes which were HILARIOUS as always ahaha i love sean connery in it. watched a couple episodes of wonder showzen too. then came 2 final rounds of halo; 100, and then 50 kills respectively, in which i owned those guys. that was fun. then just stayed up talking and stuff about very very random shit including how to be fake emo to make fun of emo kids (crane was good at this), pleasureman gunther and the sunshine girls djing at prom, jew cookies, crane's "prophecy" about me, girls, the usual. haha it was fun. just an all-around kickass day in general, actually the entire week was good; my prediction before school started about the workload being hell, but school friends getting me through it has been true so far...but then again, its only the first week of school, let's see how things go. |
